Power lines and Table A

Lines are energized until the employer has them de-energized and visibly grounded. Hope is not a method.

Table A starts at 10 feet for up to 50 kV and steps up with voltage. If you cannot guarantee that clearance, you need the encroachment precautions in the standard (spotter, proximity alarm, insulating link — as specified).

A dedicated spotter watches the line and the boom, not the landing.
